This Celtic 6-String Banjo has the standard 25-1/2" scale of a guitar, with the traditional resonator of a banjo. While its design is geared towards modern Celtic jams, the attack produced by the transparent head will whisk you back to pickin' on grandpa's porch.For the experimentalists, use a standard EADGBE tuning for a uniquely accented guitar tone, or open tuning for punctuated resonant drones.

Hall Crystal Flutes - Glass Flute in "D" - Lurgan Celtic Details

Our largest flute produces deep and beautiful mellow tones. This flute is highly recommended for the adult professional and novice players alike. The D flute is the easiest to play providing the finger holes can be sealed properly. The larger embouchure hole requires less air. The D flute's tone is deeper and mellower than our smaller flutes.

The finger stretch for this flute may be difficult for players with small hands.

Each flute is carefully hand tuned and shaped with a modern Boehm taper to produce a note range of two and one half octaves. Included with each flute is a fingering chart, dark green gift box, and in the USA a one year manufacturer's full warranty against accidental breakage.

Please note: The Hall crystal flute is a folk instrument and plays differently than a modern concert flute. The mouth hole has a raised edge and no lip plate. If you play the silver flute, this will take some time to get used to. The biggest difference is that you will need to place the flute higher on the lip and use a slightly tighter embouchure.

Being a folk instrument, it is well-suited for playing Celtic music and traditional tunes.
