This Limited Edition is a replica inspired by the Ocarina of Time from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo. It has 12 holes and plays in the key of "C". It is approximately 6.25 inches long.

The ring is coated with real platinum. There are 2 thumb holes on the bottom. The instrument has a 21 note range.

Dragon Tooth 12 Hole Ocarina Details

The DragonTooth Ocarina is a 12 hole Alto C ocarina, with a range from A to F.
It's unique shape is very comfortable to play with virtuosity and subtlety. The blowing response is quick, and yet can express breath with dynamic range from soft whispers to strong gusts. The high notes are mellow. The two small sub holes take the tone down to A below C, and they are accessible and effective.

You may find yourself just holding the Dragon Tooth, turning it over in your hands, and enjoying the tactile feel of its sharp lines and curves. Colors will vary due to the organic variations of the lustre glazing process. Each one is unique. They are not mass produced, but meticulously crafted one at a time.

A detachable metal chain is included, and a book called The Legend of the Dragon Tooth Ocarina, an origin myth for the ocarina, co-written by Darryn Songbird and Katherine James. The book includes 13 original melodies that you can play to accompany the story. Flip the book over and there is a Songbook/Tutorial that teaches you how to play, and includes scale charts and a wide variety of songs.
