I'm thrilled to introduce the first studio monitoring headphones optimized for voice work by a voice over performer, my Signature Series VO HP 'Cans' - The Voice Over headphones.


While musicians and many consumers choose headphones because of their eardrum rattling bass, open back and on the-ear-design they are a poor choice for voice work. We need to hear the clear, transparent & honest sound of our voices without artifice and affectation. Because we take direction while speaking we need a closed back, completely over-the-ear design so no leakage or feedback ruins a performance. And we need an extra degree of wearing comfort since voice talents spend many hours with headphones on; performing, narrating and often, editing.


These Voice Optimized HP headphones provide that accurate transparent sound AND the creature-comforts voice workers deserve.


The over-the-ear closed back ear shells are crafted of aluminum - not the more common plastic - to prevent sound "leakage". These phones are amazingly comfortable even in long sessions thanks not only to their weight (barely more than half a pound) but also becasue the soft supple leather - not vinyl - ear-pads filled with eyeglass-friendly Memory Foam. The padded leather-lined headband, stainless steel telescopic arms and auto adjusting non-magnetic manganese steel frame hugs - not hurts - your head.


A non-tangling left side connected combination straight to coiled cord stretches from 5 to 10 feet terminating in a gold plated 3.5mm mini plug and the included a 1/4 inch screw-on adapter let's you connect to virtually any audio gear. Because many pros - including me - prefer to monitor their performance with only one ear, both earpieces rotate up to 180 degrees. An included leatherette storage tote completes the package.

The Beats Studio headphones are equipped with active noise-isolation technology to help reduce the sounds of the outside world, allowing you to focus on the music. Powered by a pair of standard AAA batteries, these headphones are great for use on a plane, bus, or train. Plush, around-ear cushions help to naturally reduce noise and provide the comfort you need to feel the music, not the headphones.



The headphones come complete with two detachable cables, one of which has an inline mic/remote-control module for use with an iPhone (or other smartphone compatible with Monster's ControlTalk Universal standard). The cables are designed to reduce signal loss for improved balance and clarity. They feature gold-plated 3.5mm stereo mini plugs, allowing you to use the headphones with a huge variety of MP3 players, CD players, computers, and other devices.
